July, especially in Melbourne is the time to pull out your coats and scarves. It is a wonderful time to fully utilize accessories and have fun with layering. The coat is one of the most expensive purchases or investment you’re likely to make this season.  A great coat is an investment because if looked after and dry cleaned and stored correctly at the end of winter will last for years to come.

It is imperative to invest in a coat that has style and will remain stylish for years to come. Do not invest in fashion unless you wish to invest year after year and hopefully be able to sell on e bay at the end of the season!!

A great coat is a fabulous way to look amazing in a second. Even when wearing jeans and a jumper on the weekend, pull out a fabulous looking coat, a great looking scarf and or hat, some great looking boots and you have a style that will make you look and feel amazing in an instant.

When looking for a coat, think of colour. Winter is a time when we tend to wear a lot of black so when you have the colour knowledge for your skin type your choice of coats increase. This season I purchased a beautiful lime green coat, which is a perfect colour for me and a perfect style and it has given many outfits the lift required to lift my spirits for winter. Teamed with a red or purple scarf, had and gloves and the wow factor has kicked in!!

On our last free shopping tour, Scarves were a huge hit with Trend Clients and they have enjoyed “coloring” their winter and adding accessories to their amazing wardrobes. Scarves are a fantastic way of adding warmth to your winter, plus adding colour to our outfits. Teamed with other great accessories, including hats and gloves, scarves add beauty to any outfit.

Guys, scarves look amazing with a coat, ask any woman. Stylish men do wear scarves and there are some fabulous scarves for men in stores now.
