I read an article during the week titled, “Ten Things Every Stylish Woman Should Have” and it prompted me to think about what I consider to be my own personal style essentials. There are many, many more on my list (the perfect lipstick, George Clooney, a great white shirt, a beautiful coat, exquisite bed linen, a book or movie that changed my life, a classic watch, amazing lingerie, etc, etc) but on this occasion, I have condensed the list to my top 10. (Of course George would be at No. 1, but one needs to be realistic).

1. A spectacular piece of jewellery

2. A signature fragrance

3. A defined, authentic style

4. At least one trip to Paris

5. Wishes, dreams & goals

6. A home that reflects my personal style & surrounds me in beauty

7. A beaming smile

8. An adored piece of furniture or art

9. A wardrobe of clothes that compliment my style, shape and lifestyle, for example:

An amazing handbag that completes any outfit be it designer, a vintage find, or a precious hand-me-down.

A pair of shoes I look at and think are too beautiful to leave the box and wear for fear of them being scarred and ruined.
