Christmas to me is an exciting time as I love everything about Christmas, especially catching up with family and friends.

Christmas can also be a daunting time and after having a conversation with a group from our Training Program, they were inspired by how I make Christmas very stylish and encouraged me to share with you all in our newsletter, so here it is.

Shopping

After creating a list, I organize a special day with my sister Rosie and daughter Emma.  We go to David Jones at Chadstone Shopping Centre to purchase most of the items.  Once purchased with my DJ’s card – I take the items to the ladies who kindly gift-wrap all our purchases while we go and have a lovely lunch together.  (Before purchasing from a large department store, please find out what requirements they need to wrap your presents).

Most of the stores where I shop gift-wrap, and this saves me a great deal of time.

 

Presents

Presents can be a difficult one so if I am unsure what the person would like, I have a general list below of items to purchase, with the assistance of the Trend Team:

Perfume – Chanel is a must for me, Number 5 or Mademoiselle!  Rae loves Knowing by Estee

                  Lauder and Brookes favorite is Coco from Chanel.

Hand Crème – my favorites are Chanel (of course!), Adonia or the Body Shop.  Brooke

                         recommends Jurlique - Lavender.

Candles – everyone loves a beautiful candle and my favorites are the natural soy candles,

                 Chanel No. 5 fragrance we have here at Trend.

Make a gift – Christmas Cooking, including yummy Christmas cake makes a wonderful gift. 

                      (It is wonderful to have a cooking day with friends).  Brooke loves Christmas cup  

                      cakes.

Hair Care Products - Aveda is a beautiful, safe and natural product which can be used by most,

                                 including children.

Plants – Herbs make a wonderful gift, especially if you have grown them from seeds.

Chocolates – one of my favorites, especially Lindt Chocolates.

Hamper – If you know me, Champagne is a must!!  Hampers are fun to create.

Romantic Weekend Getaway - Brooke recommended this and I hope she shows my husband!

Pets Presents - Rae and Brooke love their little puppies and spoil them so they recommend a day

                          spa boutique day for their little people (their fur kids).

Stocking Fillers for Children - When my children were younger they loved funky bandaids,

                                                toothpastes and toothbrushes in their stockings.
